An Oral History of Schaumburg Township
Schaumburg Township District Library is pleased to unveil a collection of history videos that you can now watch through the library's website. These videotaped interviews feature the oral histories of former farmers and early residents of Schaumburg Township. This new digitized format will keep Schaumburg area history alive for generations to come.

Funding for the grant for this new digitized format was awarded by the Illinois State Library (ISL), a Division of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), under the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Partners in the project are the Facilitators of the Preservation of Schaumburg Area History, the Villages of Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg and the Schaumburg Township History Society.
