New tax rules and regulations often require different tax planning strategies. Join Richard Augustine, CPA, and others from R.J. Augustine and Associates, for a discussion of how recent changes may help save money on your tax returns. How the Small Business Administration Can Help Your Small Business

The Northwest Suburban Philanthropy Center is part of the collection at the Schaumburg Township District Library, providing information on various aspects of fundraising. This orientation will provide an overview of the Philanthropy Center’s resources and feature instruction on how to best use the center’s electronic products. BOOK SALES

General Book Sale

Saturday, Jan. 8,  9 a.m.- 2 p.m. Library Basement 

(Enter through the door on the south side of the building, facing Dominicks.) Come early and bring family and friends to the STDL book sale. You will find every subject, every genre, every age level and here's the best part --- unbelievable prices (25 cents for paperbacks and 50 cents for hardcovers)!

 

Business Reference Book Sale 
Tuesday, April 26, 4-5:30 p.m., Adult Classroom

 

Recently withdrawn business directories and other timely business reference materials will be available for purchase and most will be priced at $5 or below. Please note that many of our popular business directories will be auctioned off around 4:30 p.m. to ensure that more people get a chance to bid on these items. Checks and cash only, please.

 

BUSINESS TRAINING

The library has many classes geared toward enhancing professional development.
