Before You Start Your Business
Monday, Jan. 22        7 -9 p.m.

Join Jorge Phillips, small business specialist with the Small Business Development Center at Elgin Community College, for a workshop designed to be a first step for future entrepreneurs. You will learn about the services offered by the Small Business Administration and the Illinois Dept. of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, as well as local educational institutions.

Nonprofit representatives and the public can attend a free Philanthropy Center orientation. Learn how to use resources to locate potential private donors, research the philanthropic sector and learn about nonprofit management.
