Posted on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 by claire The library offers classes that are targeted for the “over 50″ audience and will introduce students to the basics of computing from the ground up at a gentler pace than the non-senior classes. Each class has a maximum of 10 students, meets in the Adult Computer Lab, and lasts approximately 2 hours. Fee is $9 per class. See the schedule. Movies start at 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM every Thursday night. For a list of movie offerings, contact the Hoffman Estates branch at 847-923-3456. Collected phones will be sold to ReCellular for recycling. Proceeds will be used to buy prepaid calling cards for U.S. troops.
