Belizean recording artist Nelson Gill presents a concert of Reggae rhythms in the Caribbean tradition.

This program is funded by a grant from Target Corporation and presented by the Trickster Gallery and Schaumburg Township District Library.
Vito Buffalo Orchestra
Monday, June 11 7-8:30 p.m.
Known as the “band with personality,” this orchestra will play a variety of music from the big band era with vocalists Lee Stevens and Bob Shipner. Rain date: June 14.
Chicago Boyz Acrobats
Tuesday, June 12 7-7:45 p.m.
This professional gymnastics troupe presents impressive tumbling routines and acrobatic stunts.
Yorkville American Legion Big Band
Monday, June 18 7-9 p.m.
Under the direction of Rick Falato, this band plays a repertoire of tunes from the 1940s and 1950s with modern arrangements of the famous big bands with vocalists Leslie Beukelman and Dean Potter. Rain date: June 21.
Hairum Scarum - Street Theatre
Wednesday, June 20 7-8 p.m.

Maxwell Street Klezmer Band
Monday, June 25 6:45-8:30 p.m.
This show will consist of original klezmer-classical compositions, dances and humor, keeping the audience engaged as the constant variety of tempos and moods are spiced with entertaining commentary. Rain date: June 28.
X Games Medalist Matt Wilhelm
Tuesday, June 26 7-7:45 p.m.
Matt Wilhelm will demonstrate bike tricks and discuss his road to earning medals at the X Games.
Steve Cooper Orchestra
Wednesday, June 27 7-8:30 p.m.
The Steve Cooper Orchestra plays the great classics of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and newer music of The Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffet and Stevie Wonder, all done in big band ballroom style. New Orleans Dixieland Jazz and even a polka are part of the repertoire. New this year will be your favorite TV musical commercials. Vocalist Mary Kalfas performs. Rain date: July 5.
Teddy Lee Orchestra
Monday, July 9 7-8:30 p.m.
Hit tunes of the big band era, show tunes and popular songs of the great American song writers are all a part of the Teddy Lee tradition. The band, along with vocalist Peter Oprisko, provides a variety of listening and dancing enjoyment through its inimitable style and vast custom arrangement of classic tunes, waltzes, Latin, society, jazz and Dixieland. Rain date: July 12.

This talented quartet of a capella singers returns for the third year to present a musical overview of rock ’n roll.

This orchestra specializes in all forties style big band swing – keeping alive the sounds of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Count Basie and others. In addition to swing music, the orchestra will perform current big band jazz charts and many vocal ballads such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn. Featured vocalist is Frieda Lee. Battle of the Bands

ATTENTION: TEENS AND LOCAL BANDS! Yes, the library has books, and yes, the library is traditionally a place of quiet, but tonight the library features the pounding of drums and strumming of guitars (some of them loud). We will be hosting our first Battle of the Bands competition! Come to Town Square, and vote for your favorite local band. Brotherhood of Harmony Men’s Barbershop Chorus

Under the direction of Todd Wilson, the Brotherhood of Harmony is an a cappella chorus made up of men dedicated to singing fresh, new music at a championship level while supporting our community and helping to spread the love of vocal music. Rain date: Aug. 9.
Spring Valley Concert Band

Schaumburg’s first adult community concert band, directed by John M. Snow, returns for its ninth year with a repertoire including show tunes, patriotic tributes and jazz and classical overtures.
StringFusion
Monday, Aug. 13 7-8:15 p.m.
Edgar Gabriel's StringFusion is an exciting new jazz fusion ensemble from Chicago. With former Cirque du Soleil electric violinist Edgar Gabriel at the helm, this group fuses elements of rock, classical and world music into its intelligent entertaining character. While StringFusion has plenty of original material, they also play the great music of Jean-Luc Ponty, Frank Zappa, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cirque du Soleil and much more. Rain date: Aug. 16.
