| Teens going into grades 7-12 may participate in the reading program by picking up an ALOHA booklet with book review slips from the Readers' Advisory Desk at the central library or at the Hoffman Estates or Hanover Park branch libraries. Teens may use completed slips to "purchase" prizes. |

Send us the link to the MP3 file or drop off a CD at the Readers’ Advisory Desk of the central library or either branch library. Email the link to aalessio@stdl.org. Winners in lyrics or music categories will receive gift certificates to area music stores and will have the song linked to the STDL teen sites. |

| Design a cartoon for a chance to win a Borders gift certificate! Make your most embarrassing moment into a cartoon. Entry forms with three panels to create will be available at the Readers’ Advisory Desk or at the branch libraries. Panels should show a story with beginning, middle and end. Winners will be judged by comic creator Joshua Elder and will be displayed in the library during Teen Appreciation Week, Aug. 10-16. |

| The Teen Advisory Board will coordinate this fun fair to benefit the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry. Teens will run carnival games for young children.
