Youth Programs
Persons with disabilities can arrange for special assistance by calling (847) 923-3439 two weeks prior to the program. Register at the location you will attend for Youth Services programs that require registration: Central Library Youth Services Information Desk (847) 923-3439; Hoffman Estates Branch (847) 885-3511; or Hanover Park Branch (630) 372-7800. You must register in person for all programs requiring a fee. Fees must be paid at the time of registration. All Youth Services programs requiring registration are limited to Schaumburg Township District Library cardholders. Refunds, less a $3 service fee, are available with a 24-hour notice. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult caregiver (age 18 or older) at all times while in the library. No strollers are permitted in library-sponsored programs. We reserve the right to limit seating at all programs for safety reasons.

A * means limited tickets will be available in Youth Services 20 minutes prior to showtime. Patrons may only attend one show. No tickets are required for programs at the branches, but we reserve the right to limit seating for safety reasons.
Reading Program
Get in the Game at Your Library!
Registration begins June 1. Children ages infant-14 may sign up at the Youth Services Information Desk or the Hoffman Estates or Hanover Park branches. Readers must read 10 books, and non-readers must have 20 books read to them. Prizes will be distributed through Aug. 31. We reserve the right to substitute incentives. Baby Play Time (ages infant-24 months)
