Teens in
grades 7 - 12 can share ideas each month with the Teen Advisory Board.
In September, we will try out video game equipment and plan a new Teen
Gamers Group to begin later this fall. Games will include DDR, Guitar
Hero and xBox games. During October, we will celebrate Halloween with
Haunted Gingerbread Houses. In November, we will make cards for local
hospitals and veterans with artist Carol Thomas. Food will be served.

Bring poems

National Teen Read Month by filling out review slips to enter weekly
drawings. Tell us what you think about a book, CD, video game or movie
to enter drawings for gift certificate prizes and more. Two lucky
winners will win a dinner with author Kenneth Oppel when he comes to
the library on November 14. Review slips can be turned in to the
Reader’s Advisory Desk at the main library or to the branch libraries.
